KSS Acquires Strack Scale Strengthening Presence Across Midwest
Poca, WV – July 7, 2026 – Kanawha Scales & Systems (“KSS” or “the Company”), a leading provider of mission-critical calibration, maintenance, and repair services for complex industrial weighing systems and automated control solutions, today announced that it has acquired Strack Scale, a scale calibration and service company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Strack Scale brings a tenured team of skilled service technicians and a well-established customer base to the KSS platform, serving manufacturers and industrial operations across the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana tri-state region. The company provides scale calibration, installation, and maintenance services across a broad range of industries. Strack Scale will continue to operate under its existing brand name, and President Christopher Geers Jr. will remain with the business in an executive capacity following the close of the transaction.
